Bacchus 2021

Our multi-award winning still white. Top 100 UK wines and Top 3 Essex Produced Wines.Intense and aromatic with aromas of spice, spring blossom and citrus zest. On the palate it’s generous and full as a result of a small neutral barrel fermented component in the blend. The well balanced acidity is supported by flavours of green apple, grapefruit and crushed ginger leading to a clean and refreshing finish.

Pale, salmon pink in colour, the nose has lots of bright red fruit character with crushed strawberries and redcurrant. The palate is delicate yet broad, with flavours of raspberry compote and summer fruits. 13% Vol

Ripe aromatic on the nose with aromas of fleshy stone fruit, spring blossom and grapefruit, the palate is generous and full as a result of a small neutral barrel fermented component in the blend. THE DREAM OF OWNING A VINEYARD

Thorrington Mill Vineyard was born out of a dream of Mark & Polly’s to own their own vineyard and make their own wine. The 12 acre vineyard was planted on the sea level south facing slopes of their beautiful family farm on the Essex coast. Varieties that were planted were chosen for their popularity in the English wine making world and include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Bacchus. These can make a variety of still and sparkling wines.
